Rockin’ Rollin’ Video Game Party™ is an independently owned and operated business based in the Pinehurst, NC area. We have participated in over 1,000 events and have had over 20,000 students, athletes, parishioners, birthday honorees, corporate employees and grown-ups game with us! We started this business in December of 2010 and had our 1st party in January 2011. We do everything from our main focus, which is Birthday Parties to School Events, Church Festivals and Charity Events. You’ll also find us at Business and Family Expos, Holiday Events like Parades and City Celebrations as well as Athletic Events from Little League Baseball to Minor League Hockey games. We have raised funds for many charities and schools and donate monthly to the Wounded Warrior Project.
When we looked into starting our own business, it was important for us to give something back to the community. If a school, church or non-profit hands out a flyer and a party is booked as a result, the organization receives $20 cash back for fundraising. We can also raise funds by being part of a “kid’s zone” at a large event and either charging tickets to play in the Mobile Game Theater or accepting a wristband or ticket for timed play. Depending on the arrangement, either a percentage goes back to the organization or 100% goes back, if the Mobile Game Theater has been hired in advance.
The look on the kids’ faces, young and old, makes our job fun. Every party is different and we have met some terrific families and organizations through this adventure!
Edward Gainer is our own personal MacGyver. If it can break, Edward can fix it. If it can be imagined, he can design and build it. He was born in Henderson, Texas and went to Central Texas College. He spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy and settled in North Carolina in 2000. Edward is in charge of the design and execution of the Mobile Video Game Theaters and Laser Tag Trailers that RRVGP sells across the country. Edward built our Mobile Game Theater and Laser Tag Trailer and oversees the Operations side of Rockin’ Rollin’ Video Game Party. His background is in Sales, Design and Engineering. In his plethora of “spare time” Edward can be found spending time with his family, Four Wheeling, working on his latest invention or going for a bike ride.
Dana Gainer is in charge of Sales, Marketing and Training for Rockin’ Rollin’ Video Game Party™. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up on a farm in Northern Michigan. Her background is in Event Management and Sales. In her past positions, she coordinated Weddings, Corporate Events and Tailgate Parties at Brookside Golf Club and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. She enjoys spending time with family, Four Wheeling, coming up with ideas for Edward to build, motivational books and writing.
Kevin “Chico” Jones is our Resident Gaming Expert and Head Game Coach. Chico also loves putting the kids through their paces while running Laser Tag Events. Clients have a lot of good things to say about Chico’s enthusiasm and fun personality with the kids. He has worked for GameStop and still keeps his employment active with Disney. He’s an awesome Game Coach and Laser Tag Ref because he’s still a kid at heart!
Kevin Macari is our Head Laser Tag Referee and Top Notch Game Coach . He has fun at work and it shows. We get a ton of great feedback about Macari’s ability to involve all the kids (or big kids) and his knack for knowing what will keep the party going. He enjoys working out and visiting his family back home in the Bronx, NY. He keeps our Laser Taggers in working order and helps Edward keep our Backyard Laser Tag Trailer in tip top shape.
Kyle Spencer is our Sales Manager and company “Jack of all Trades”. From answering the phone and emails to going to Networking Events to being a Game Coach or Referee, Kyle is there. He is married with two children. He has a degree in Computer Programming and is certified in five programming languages. He has been in retail management for 14 years. (GameStop for 7 years). On the weekends, he coaches a Semi Pro Football League for adults and teens trying to get into college and spends time with his family.
Robert “Country” King is our Shop Manager and wears many hats in that role. He is in charge of servicing our two Trailers and also heads up the facility where we build and sell Mobile Game Theaters and Laser Tag Trailers as a Turn-Key Business. Country enjoys spending time with Brittany, hunting, fishing and four wheeling as well as keeping our Trailers rockin’ and rollin’!
